3. 2014 RESIDENTIAL MAINTENANCE GRAND AWARD
Great American Landscapes is proud to announce that we are the recipients of the 2014 Residential Maintenance Grand Award for the LCA. This was because of the beautiful maintenance work performed at the residence of The Nortons.

The criteria that the judges use for choosing the recipient of the award are very complex. They judge exterior maintenance on the quality of the turf, condition of plant material, pruning of plant material, seasonal color treatment, and mulch and surface treatment of planting beds.
4. LCA GRAND AWARD JULY 2015
Great American Landscapes won the Landscape Contractors Association Grand Award for Residential Maintenance. The subject property was the Norton Residence which was featured on the cover of Groundwork.
5. 2016 GRAND AWARD IN LANDSCAPING
We are winners of a 2016 Grand Award in Landscape by the Landscape Contractors Association. Our company has provided year-round comprehensive maintenance services for over 13 years to The Heights School, a 20-acre private boys’ school in Potomac, Maryland.

The maintenance scope includes not only the typical turf management, ornamental plant care, and annual flower planting, but also water retention pond maintenance, hardscape maintenance and repair, play area policing, and reforestation/forest conservation area compliance.
The sloping topography, stands of mature hardwood trees, and thoughtfully planned landscaping all create a truly unique natural setting that is an integral part of the school’s culture of instilling a deep appreciation of natural history into its students.
